Please note: The Sacramento History Museum is currently closed for renovations.
The Sacramento History Museum is making a few changes and will be closed to the public beginning through the end of March 2019. Join us this spring for an exciting new floor plan and new exhibits on the rich history of early Sacramento. In celebration of our upcoming 10th season of the Old Sacramento Underground Tours, tours will continue to run daily from the Visitor Center at 1002 2nd Street.
The Sacramento History Museum is located in the heart of Historic Old Sacramento. We are located next to the beautiful Sacramento River and two buildings away from the California State Railroad Museum. We are also minutes away from fine and family dining, shopping, and entertainment.
