The Burnett Awards
Each year the Sacramento History Alliance honors Sacramento businesses that have met the test of time and become iconic treasures in our community. They may not be the oldest, or the biggest, but they are revered and beloved by Sacramentans from all walks of life – we call these businesses “Venerable”.
Ghost Tours!
Come join the “ghosts” of early Sacramento for an eerie journey through the city’s shadowy past with the Sacramento History Museum’s annual Ghost Tours. Whether you’re a history buff or just love a good ghost story, hear tantalizing tales of how folks lived – and died! – in our fair city.
Print Shop Experience
Experience a rare and unique opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and get a hands-on opportunity at a centuries old craft. Book a Print Shop Experience where you and up to three guests can become a Printer and create your own Wanted Poster, press prints, and get the history on our antique presses.

America’s Monsters, Superheroes, & Villains!
The Sacramento History Museum at the Old Sacramento Waterfront is proud to present , America’s Monsters, Superheroes and Villains: Our Culture at Play, a multi-generational display of toys, comics, posters, and videos of the 60s – 90s. Runs through January 5th!
