It’s Women’s History Month!

In collaboration with the Sacramento County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, the Sacramento History Museum has added a special exhibition to celebrate Women’s History Month. Women were selected from different blocks of time in Sacramento’s history, representing the various trials they experienced. A total of 11 women are honored for their unique contributions to the community and the city of Sacramento from the mid-1800s to modern times. Their stories evoke inspiration and commitment to building a better community for everyone.

Please come to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of these remarkable women. Participate by leaving comments about the women who inspire you on our wall of honor. The exhibit will be open through March 29, 2026

General Admission to the museum, several discounts apply.
