A renowned orator, lawyer, and outspoken advocate for free thought, Ingersoll challenged conventional beliefs and became one of the most celebrated speakers of his time.
Theodore Roosevelt – New York City Police Commissioner,
Long before becoming president, Roosevelt made his mark as a reformer and forceful leader during his tenure as New York City’s Police Commissioner.
Margaret Crocker – Sacramento’s “Lady Bountiful”,
A prominent Sacramento philanthropist, Crocker was known for her generosity and lasting influence on the cultural and civic life of the community.
Leland Stanford – Railroad Magnate,
One of California’s most powerful businessmen, Stanford helped shape the development of the state through his railroad, political, and philanthropic endeavors.
