Third Thursday at the Museum

Stroll the streets of the Old Sacramento Waterfront on January 15 from 4 to 8 pm for Third Thursday. An evening full of fun and exploration, shops within the district will be staying open until 8pm and offering free demonstrations. There’s always something new to discover.

This Third Thursday, January 15 from 4 pm to 8 pm, visit the Sacramento History Museum and experience a variety of gold rush gambling games. Enter a saloon of lively entertainment, with special dealers from Sacramento Living History. You will be able to try your hand in the game of Faro or roll the dice with Shut the Box. The games will be available in the gift shop so you can take the fun home to share with your friends and family. Use your ‘gold’ carefully, there will be prizes to be won.

If you’d like to stay and experience the museum, the admission will be set as ‘pay as you wish’ donations.
