SacTown History Quest

Come play our brand new SacTown History Quest – Hidden Gems Edition! Set in the 4 corners of the city, come find out about the best hidden gems of Sacramento on this interactive, team scavenger hunt! The city is your game board – take your time to find out about some unique spots and discover areas you never think about. Gear is provided and there are prizes at the end. Drive the quest with your team of up to 6 people and get to every spot to unscramble the final puzzle!

You’ll be driving around the whole city to reach 9 iconic and historic spots such as Sutter’s Fort, Guy West Bridge, Governor’s Mansion, and The Ziggurat Building. Learn the stories about those Sacramento Landmarks and answer questions to earn points. With gear provided and prizes at the end, a great day of fun is guaranteed. Join this one-of-a-kind scavenger hunt with your friends, family, coworkers, and see the city come alive!”

This year’s Quests take place September 13, October 4 & 11, November 8 & 22.

You’ll get a custom map and then hunt for clues!

Your History Quest starts and ends at the Sacramento History Museum in Old Sacramento. You can start as soon as the Museum opens at 10 a.m., and you’ll have until 5 p.m. to complete your Quest.

One SacTown History Quest ticket is good for a whole team of up to six players, You will only need to purchase one ticket for your whole team.

Your History Quest starts and ends at the Sacramento History Museum at 101 I Street in Old Sacramento. Metered parking can be found on the streets of Old Sacramento. Parking is also available in the Old Sacramento Parking Garage on 2nd and I Streets.

Check in at the Museum between 10 a.m and 1 p.m. then you will have until 4:30 p.m. to complete your Quest. We recommend allowing approximately 2 hours to complete the entire quest.

SacTown History Quest “Hidden Gems Edition” is $40 per team for the general public and only $30 per team for Sacramento History Museum Members. Sign up today, and good luck!
