Meet founders of RCAF in Mictlán
On the final weekend of the exhibition, RCAF in Mictlan: 50th Anniversary of Dia de los Muertos, the Sacramento History Museum will host the leaders who established and nurtured this ceremony within our community. Join us on Saturday, April 4, in welcoming founding members of the RCAF, and the elders who paved the way toward cultural understanding. Come to the museum for an intimate conversation with Senora Angelbertha Cobb, Stan Padilla, Lupe Portillo, David Rasul and Tere Romo. Engage in an afternoon of storytelling from the people who brought new traditions to their community through difficult times and controversy. This special event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 2 p.m. – 3:30p.m. Admission to the museum on April 4 will be free from1:30 to 5:00p.m.
