Join us for a fun-filled day of stories, hands-on activities, and garden-inspired learning at the Sacramento History Museum! This family-friendly event is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading and nature in kids of all ages.

Event Highlights:
- Authors Reading Their Books:
- Leticia Ordaz – Award-winning author and Emmy Winner, reading The Power of a Sister Circle
- Enrique Baeza – Debut author and Environmental Crusader, reading The Environmental Crusader Could Be Me!
- Maxton Baeza – Young award-winning author, reading The Carousel King and the Space Mission
- Nicole Mechem – a writer, mom, and lifelong believer in the magic of stories. Before becoming an author, she spent years working in tech startups and international development, including time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Georgia—experiences that taught her that kindness and wonder can be found everywhere. She will be reading Lizabeth and the Great Tooth Fairy Blunder
- Carolyn Wooddall – an author & co-founder of Hard Luck Animal Welfare Advocates, reading, A Shelter is……A Dog’s Journey from Shelter to Home
- Anya Jaleane – a Poet, Prolific Author, Storyteller, Actress and Humanitarian. She is the proud Author of Anya Jaleane ‘s Collection of Famous Children’s books and others. She is pleased to be returning to the History Museum for this special event and looks for to her up and coming new books being published soon and getting them to her readers and potential readers.
