Print Shop Experience

Experience a rare and unique opportunity to go behind-the-scenes and get a hands-on opportunity at a centuries old craft. Book a Print Shop Experience where you and up to three guests can become a Printer and create your own Wanted Poster, press prints, and get the history on our antique presses.

The Burnett Awards

Each year the Sacramento History Alliance honors Sacramento businesses that have met the test of time and become iconic treasures in our community. They may not be the oldest, or the biggest, but they are revered and beloved by Sacramentans from all walks of life – we call these businesses “Venerable”.

Paranormal Investigations - NEW!

Snake oil, amputations, and iron lungs! Old Sacramento Paranormal Investigations goes OUTSIDE Old Sac to the Sierra Sacramento Valley Museum of Medical History! On this limited-time tour, our guides will take you through the history and mystery of this special museum, not regularly open to the public in the evening.

The Sacramento History Museum at the Old Sacramento Waterfront is proud to present , America’s Monsters, Superheroes and Villains: Our Culture at Play, a multi-generational display of toys, comics, posters, and videos of the 60s – 90s. Runs through January 5th!
